The Polish government adopted a new renewable energy law which introduces an auction-based support system which replaces the green certificate incentive system.  A separate auction will be held for RES technologies with installed capacities up to 1MW. Participants will place a bid in the auction in which they have to indicate the amount of energy they intend to sell and its price. The auction winner will be the participant offering the lowest price and will be guaranteed this purchase price for his electricity for 15 years.
